To all Team 48 members, both young and old:

 

    Please take the initiative to learn more about what we do and why we do it - IT'S NOT JUST ABOUT THE ROBOT!   Team 48 is a close partnership between adult team mentors and our students- in order for our team to operate as best it can, in order for each team member to extract as much benefit as they can from their time on Delphi E.L.I.T.E., each of us must first understand what the FIRST program is about.  We must understand the ultimate goals we are pursuing together so each and every team activity in which we participate has some meaning as a small piece to a much greater puzzle.  Also, to the best of your individual abilities, we challenge each Team 48 member to decide which of our team ideals you find to be the most meaningful and do your best to incorporate them into your daily life. 

 

    Team 48 believes that if our members step up to the plate and show they truly value the mission of FIRST and the ideals we promote here on Delphi E.L.I.T.E., their lives will change for the better. 

 

    For new team members, we will introduce these topics in some of the earliest meetings of the new school year, and we will reinforce them throughout our time together on the team.
